Conditions:
Work location: Azerbaijan, Baku, ISR Plaza
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week / 5-day working week
This position is open to citizens of Azerbaijan due to local hiring regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Company and Client Procedures.
Carry out the offshore surveys required to establish initial data to initiate design/development activities.
Prepare the Offshore Design Survey Report in association with the Lead Discipline Designer and Discipline Engineer.
Develop and prepare all necessary design drawings, job cards and commissioning documentation in association with the Lead Discipline Designer and Discipline engineer.
Assist in the preparation of all project related equipment and materials procurement documentation.
Carry out inspections as required of onshore procured materials and fabricated items.
Assist in the supervision of sub-contract installation personnel carrying out inspections, repairs and installation of process systems and structures, with regard to engineering projects.
Attend scheduled trainings
Share experience and knowledge with new employees
Submit regular reports as per requirements of appropriate work-related procedures
Respect the confidentiality of work-related information
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in piping engineering within oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of piping design, layout development, material selection, stress analysis, and piping specifications.
Proficiency in international codes and standards such as ASME B31.1/B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API, ASTM, ISO, and related engineering standards.
Experience in preparation and review of piping deliverables including P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, material requisitions, specifications, and technical evaluations.
Familiarity with 3D design software and engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS/E3D, Caesar II, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance requirements for piping systems.
Ability to perform technical reviews, resolve engineering issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Experience in managing engineering activities, supervising junior engineers, and coordinating with clients, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
