About the Role
You’ll work directly with our clients, managing their accounting and tax matters, helping them stay compliant and providing clear, practical guidance. You’ll report to the Senior Tax Accountant, working closely with them to ensure accurate, timely and high-quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do
Maintain accounting records, general ledger entries, reconciliations and financial reports for assigned clients.
Prepare, review and submit tax returns and statutory reports in accordance with Azerbaijani legislation.
Monitor compliance deadlines and changes in tax legislation.
Analyse financial data, identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively.
Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, responding to queries and explaining accounting and tax matters clearly and practically.
Identify potential risks, suggest improvements and escalate issues when necessary.
Keep accounting records and supporting documentation accurate and well organised.
Work closely with the Senior Tax Accountant to ensure the quality and timely delivery of client services.
Collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to improving internal processes and client services.
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of practical experience in accounting, taxation or a related role.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Proficiency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English is must.
Good knowledge of Azerbaijani tax legislation and accounting requirements.
Practical experience with reconciliations, tax returns and statutory reporting.
Familiarity with accounting systems and tax software.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Clear communication skills and a genuine client-oriented mindset.
A proactive, responsible and organised approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
A kind, collaborative personality with a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn, grow and support others.
Openness to feedback and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
