JOB ACCOUNTABILITYPrepare, review, and evaluate technical design drawings, calculations, and specifications for building facade systems (curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, and skylights)Inspect on-site installation, structural integrity, weatherproofing, and thermal performance of facade elements to ensure compliance with project standardsCoordinate closely with site architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve technical facade interfaces and design discrepanciesReview contractor submittals, material samples, shop drawings, and mock-up test results for facade systemsConduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) site inspections and prepare detailed technical inspection reports

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related fieldSpecific areas of expertise:Building envelope systems, glass and aluminum facade engineering, structural load calculation for facades, thermal and waterproofing insulation details, local and international building codes (ASTM, EN, BS)Work experience:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facade engineering and site installation supervision, preferably within large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projectsLanguage and computer programs knowledge:Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and structural/facade analysis software (e.g., Strand7, RFEM, or similar)Working knowledge of English and AzerbaijaniSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:In-depth understanding of facade material testing, structural engineering fundamentals, and complex architectural detailingHigh motivation, detail orientation, and ability to meet strict project deadlinesStrong site inspection skills and capability to manage technical discussions with sub-contractors and consultantsCOMPETENCIES:Facade technical detailing and structural analysis precisionProblem-solving and interdisciplinary design coordinationQuality control and compliance with international standardsTime management and task prioritizationTeamwork and effective communication
