Aviation Services Group is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant.
Aviation Services Group is a leading provider of world-class aviation services, with a team of over 4,000 professionals across multiple branches. We offer a wide range of services, from business aviation and ground handling to flight catering, all aimed at ensuring excellence and reliability in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee payroll accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely salary payments.
Calculate monthly salaries, bonuses, allowances, overtime, and other employee payments.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor legislation, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
Prepare and submit payroll-related tax and statutory reports.
Calculate and monitor employee leave payments, sick leave, and other payroll-related benefits.
Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure the accuracy of payroll-related financial records.
Maintain payroll documentation and ensure the confidentiality of employee information.
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments on employee compensation, payroll changes, and personnel-related transactions.
Participate in payroll audits and provide the necessary supporting documentation.
Monitor changes in payroll legislation and ensure the timely implementation of relevant updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
Proven experience in payroll accounting, preferably in a senior accountant role.
Strong knowledge of local tax legislation, labor law, and payroll regulations.
Experience with payroll calculations, statutory reporting, and accounting reconciliations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Working conditions:
In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport
Work schedule: Full-time (5 days per week, from 09:00 to 18:00)
Transportation is provided by the company from Koroglu m/s.
