IRES is currently looking for an experienced Senior Buyer for a project in the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of goods, services, and subcontracted works in line with cost, schedule, quality, and company requirements
Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to vendors
Support vendors during preparation of technical and commercial proposals
Prepare commercial/economic bid tabulations and evaluate proposals
Lead commercial negotiations with vendors
Prepare Purchase Orders and subcontracts and manage contractual deviations
Follow up and negotiate Purchase Order/subcontract revisions when required
Review and comment on technical documentation related to Purchase Requisitions and Technical Evaluations
Maintain and manage procurement and contractual documentation
Ensure full compliance with company procedures, systems, and HSEQ requirements
Requirements:
Higher education
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement/buyer role within the Oil & Gas industry
Strong experience in RFQs, bid evaluation, vendor selection, commercial negotiations, Purchase Orders and subcontracts
Fluent English and Azerbaijani
Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
