This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") sets out the rules for the collection, use, storage, processing, and protection of personal data of users of the Prayk.com online classifieds platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform", the "Website", "Prayk.com", or the "Administration").

By using Prayk.com, creating an account, posting advertisements, or using any services of the Platform, the User confirms their consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. General Provisions

1.1. The Administration respects the Users' right to privacy and takes the necessary measures to protect personal data.

1.2. This Policy applies to all Users of Prayk.com, regardless of the method of access to the Platform.

1.3. If a User does not agree with this Policy, they must discontinue using the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

Prayk.com may collect the following information:

2.1. Information Provided by the User:

  • first and last name;

  • telephone number;

  • email address;

  • username;

  • password (stored in encrypted form);

  • profile picture;

  • information contained in advertisements;

  • messages sent through the Platform;

  • any other information voluntarily provided by the User.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically:

  • IP address;

  • device type;

  • browser type and version;

  • operating system;

  • interface language;

  • date and time of access;

  • pages visited on the Website;

  • cookie data;

  • technical logs and analytics data.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • registration and identification of Users;

  • providing access to Platform services;

  • publishing and managing advertisements;

  • ensuring the security of user accounts;

  • processing customer support requests;

  • sending notifications and service messages;

  • preventing fraud and illegal activities;

  • improving the operation of the Website;

  • conducting statistical and analytical research;

  • complying with legal obligations.

4. Use of Cookies

Prayk.com uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • ensuring the proper operation of the Website;

  • saving User preferences;

  • authentication and authorization;

  • analyzing website traffic;

  • improving user experience;

  • ensuring security.

Users may disable cookies through their browser settings; however, certain features of the Website may become unavailable or function improperly.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

Prayk.com does not sell or disclose Users' personal data to third parties except in the following circumstances:

  • with the User's consent;

  • when necessary to provide Platform services;

  • when required by government authorities in accordance with applicable laws;

  • to prevent fraud, protect the rights of third parties, or ensure Platform security;

  • in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of the business, or transfer of ownership rights relating to the Platform.

6. Data Storage and Protection

6.1. The Administration implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against:

  • unauthorized access;

  • alteration;

  • disclosure;

  • destruction;

  • loss;

  • unlawful processing.

6.2. Personal data shall be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or for the period required by applicable law.

7. User Rights

The User has the right to:

  • obtain information regarding their personal data;

  • request correction of inaccurate data;

  • update their information;

  • request deletion of their personal data;

  • withdraw consent where permitted by law;

  • delete their account;

  • contact the Administration regarding issues related to personal data protection.

8. Account Security

The User agrees to:

  • keep their password confidential;

  • use secure passwords;

  • immediately notify the Administration of any unauthorized access to their account.

The Administration shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from the User's disclosure of account credentials to third parties.

9. Information Published in Advertisements

The User understands and agrees that information voluntarily published in advertisements (including name, telephone number, photographs, address, and other contact information) may become publicly available and accessible to other users and search engines.

The User is solely responsible for the scope and content of the information they publish.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Administration reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing a revised version on Prayk.com.

The revised version shall become effective upon publication unless otherwise specified.

Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes the User's acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Any disputes relating to the processing of personal data shall first be resolved through negotiations and, if no agreement can be reached, shall be settled by the competent courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

12. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Prayk.com uses artificial intelligence (AI) models in the following features:

  • Listing moderation: the text and photos of new listings are automatically checked by AI for compliance with the rules; in doubtful cases the final decision is made by a moderator. AI-checked listings carry an "AI checked" badge.

  • "Quick listing" and text suggestions: based on the photos you upload and a short note, AI prepares the title, description, category and attributes; you can review and change them before publishing.

  • PRAYK AI assistant: the "PRAYK" chatbot in the messages section and the WhatsApp assistant reply using AI. The bot is not a human; its answers may be inaccurate and do not constitute official advice. Conversation history is stored to generate replies and to monitor service quality.

  • Duplicate and fraudulent listing detection, automatic categorisation, licence-plate search: photos and text are analysed with AI / computer vision.

For AI processing the relevant data (listing text, photos, chat messages, the name you provide) is sent to the API of Anthropic, PBC (Claude models) and to models on Prayk's own servers. This provider processes the data only to answer the request and does not use it to train models. If you disagree with an AI decision, contact support — a human reviews the request.

13. Third-party services that collect data

The Platform relies on the following service providers; they receive only the data necessary to provide the service:

  • Identity and notifications: core.digix.az (Smartbee) — registration, login, one-time codes, e-mail and SMS delivery;

  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrica — page views, clicks, device and browser data (subject to cookie consent, see section 15);

  • Security and CDN: Cloudflare — bot verification (Turnstile), caching and protection;

  • Artificial intelligence: Anthropic, PBC (see section 12);

  • Calls: LiveKit — media server for voice and video calls;

  • WhatsApp: WhatsApp Business (TaskFly gateway) — messaging and notifications via WhatsApp;

  • Push notifications: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and browser Web Push services (Google, Apple, Mozilla);

  • Maps and geodata: OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, Overpass, Mapbox — showing listing locations and resolving addresses;

  • Payments: United Payment, Kapital Bank, PAŞA Bank, Stripe — card payments (card data is not stored by Prayk);

  • File storage: Smartbee cloud infrastructure (S3-compatible storage) and the static.cdnsb.net CDN — uploaded images;

  • Search engines: Google, Bing/IndexNow — URLs of published listing pages;

  • Telegram: posting listings to topic channels (public listing data only);

  • Advertising: banner slots may show third-party ad creatives; they run in an isolated (sandboxed) frame and have no access to your Prayk account data.

14. Data retention and deletion

  • When an account is deleted, profile data is anonymised; your listings and their photos are deleted from the database and file storage; balance and payment records are kept in anonymised form for the period required by law; message history remains visible to the other party under the name "Deleted account".

  • Photos removed from a listing, or deleted together with a listing, are also deleted from file storage.

  • Rejected listings are deleted after 7 days; long-inactive old listings are deleted, together with their photos, after a set period.

  • Read notifications are kept for 90 days, all notifications for 180 days, and viewing history for 365 days.

  • You can request account deletion at prayk.com/account/delete: immediately when logged in, or within 30 days when submitted via the form without logging in.

15. Cookie and analytics consent

Cookies and identifiers strictly necessary for the site to work (login session, language, theme, guest identifier — for favourites, the "viewed" mark and recommendations) do not require consent. Analytics services (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica) are activated only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice; you can decline them with "Essential only" and later withdraw consent via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. When you create an account or post a listing, a notice informs you that you agree to the User Agreement and this Policy.
