For students, researchers and journalists

For researchers

You can use Prayk.com market indicators in a thesis, a paper or a journalistic investigation. This page explains which data is open, how to cite it and how to request more.

Open data

All the pages below are open without registration; the price indicators are refreshed every night.

The same indicators can be read programmatically — the “Public / Market” section of the open API needs no key. API documentation ↗

How to cite

You may use the open indicators freely with attribution (CC BY 4.0).

  • Give the access date: the current month’s figure changes until the month ends, while figures for completed months stay fixed.
  • Call the figures “asking prices”. They are the prices sellers wrote in listings, not transaction prices.
  • Report the sample size (number of listings) — it is in every table and in every CSV row.
  • We would be glad to receive a link to your work once it is published.

What we do not share

  • We do not share lists of individual listings or copies of the database. Some listings are collected from other sites, and their content belongs to those sites and sellers.
  • Phone numbers, names and other personal data are not shared, even for research.
  • Data on views, searches and user behaviour can be shared only in aggregated form.

If you need an additional indicator

If an indicator is missing from the open tables (for example, a median for a specific segment or period), write to us. Where possible we prepare it as an aggregated table.

  • The topic of the work and the institution where it is carried out.
  • The indicator you need: segment, area, period.
  • Where the result will be published.
