What is “Check by link” for?

The same car, apartment or phone is often posted on several classifieds sites at once — sometimes under different sellers' names and at different prices. “Check by link” takes the link to a listing and answers the key questions before you call or pay a deposit: is this listing posted elsewhere, who posted it first, and how does the price compare to the market.

The tool is free and needs no registration. Links from Azerbaijan's main classifieds sites are supported — just copy the link from your browser's address bar and paste it into the field above.

How it works

  1. 1. Copy the full listing link (starting with https://) and paste it into the field.
  2. 2. Prayk recognises the link and looks the listing up in its database; if it is not there yet, it tries to fetch it from the source — usually within half a minute.
  3. 3. The result shows the listing's copy on Prayk, its duplicates, a price assessment and risk signals on one page.

What the check shows

  • Copies — the same item posted with the same photos in other listings and by other sellers.
  • Original source — the seller who posted the listing first; helps tell a middleman and reposts apart.
  • Market comparison — based on similar listings, whether the price is below, at or above the market.
  • Price history — if the seller lowered or raised the price, the changes with dates.
  • Risk signals — signs that deserve attention, each with an explanation (a warning, not an accusation).

Frequently asked questions

Is “Check by link” free?
Yes. You can use the tool free of charge and without registering.
Links from which sites can I check?
Links from Azerbaijan's main classifieds sites are supported — car, real estate, electronics and general marketplaces. If a site is not supported, the result will tell you so.
What happens if the listing is not found?
Prayk tries to fetch the listing from the source. If it has been removed or the site does not respond, you can find similar listings using search.
What do “copy” and “original source” mean?
Listings where the same item is posted several times with the same photos count as copies. Among them, the seller who posted first is shown as the original source — most often the item's real owner.
Can I share the check result?
Yes. After a check, the page address contains the listing link — when the person you send it to opens it, the same check runs automatically.
