We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and a good command of English.
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Salary: 1,500–1,800 AZN (Net)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
Prepare and submit tax, social insurance, and statistical reports.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile balances.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good command of English (mandatory), both written and spoken.
Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani tax legislation and accounting regulations.
Proficiency in 1C accounting software and MS Excel.
Knowledge of IFRS will be considered an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
