Are you passionate about baking and creating exceptional culinary experiences? Do you have the skills to turn simple ingredients into extraordinary creations?
We are looking for a talented, creative, and dedicated Bakery Chef to join our Culinary team!
Who We're Looking For:
Prepare and produce a variety of artisan breads, breakfast pastries, rolls, and other baked goods.
Manage dough preparation, mixing, fermentation, proofing, shaping, and baking processes.
Plan daily bakery production according to occupancy forecasts, banquet requirements, and restaurant demand.
Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, texture, portion size, and presentation.
Monitor ingredient consumption, inventory levels, food costs, and waste.
Maintain bakery equipment and ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Supervise, train, and guide junior bakery associates.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef and other kitchen sections to meet operational requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional bakery experience, preferably in a 4–5-star hotel or high-volume bakery.
Strong practical knowledge of artisan breads, sourdough, laminated dough, and international bakery products.
Experience operating commercial ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment.
Understanding of fermentation techniques, baking temperatures, and ingredient functionality.
Ability to organize production schedules and maintain quality during high-volume operations.
Knowledge of HACCP principles, food hygiene, and safe food handling.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to supervise a team.
Culinary or bakery-related education/certification is an advantage.
