Position Overview
BlackWell LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Junior Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to support its procurement operations within the oil & gas and industrial supply sectors.
The role focuses on international supplier sourcing, market research, commercial offer evaluation, and the timely execution of procurement requests in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review procurement requests and identify products that meet specified technical and commercial requirements.
Conduct international market research to identify manufacturers, authorized distributors, and qualified suppliers.
Obtain and evaluate quotations, technical documentation, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Prepare comparative analyses of supplier offers, considering pricing, technical compliance, delivery timelines, and commercial conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in the ERP system.
Manage supplier correspondence through Microsoft Outlook and proactively follow up on outstanding inquiries.
Monitor procurement activities against agreed deadlines and provide timely operational reports.
Support the efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field.
Strong command of English, with the ability to conduct professional correspondence and negotiations with international suppliers.
Practical knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Odoo will be considered an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including email management and supplier follow-up.
Ability to conduct international market research and identify suitable sourcing opportunities.
Interest in technical products, industrial equipment, spare parts, and oil & gas supply chains.
Good command of Microsoft Excel for quotation comparison, data analysis, and reporting.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail, accountability, initiative, and a results-oriented approach.
Performance-Based Bonus
In addition to the fixed monthly salary, the position offers a performance-based bonus linked to predefined criteria, including:
