The most in-demand professions: an analysis of 61,400 vacancies and the picture in our Jobs section
The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection analysed 61,400 vacancies published on job platforms between 2022 and 2025. As navigator.az reports, the most in-demand priority areas include sales representative, procurement and supply, sales planning, SMM, programming, content services, human-resources management, credit specialist, recruitment specialist and registration-service officer. Education, finance and IT are noted as stable strategic areas.
Pay and skills
An important finding: most job listings do not state a salary. Where they do, the average monthly figure was 745 manats in 2022, 858 in 2023, 939 in 2024 and 959 manats in 2025. Among soft skills, communication ranks first, followed by teamwork and responsibility.
What Prayk's Jobs section shows
As of 12 September 2026 the Jobs section holds 2,912 published vacancies. The largest groups by job title:
- Restaurants and cafés (waiting staff, cooks) — 554 listings;
- Sales roles — 442;
- Drivers — 141;
- Marketing and SMM — 52;
- Accountants — 4.
So the national priority list and the structure of a classifieds platform do not fully coincide: services (restaurants, sales, drivers) are more strongly represented here, while office professions gravitate to specialised channels. The median across our vacancies that state a salary is 650 AZN — below the Observatory's 959-manat average, because this is a different segment (a median is not an average, and the share of service jobs is large).

Filter for listings that state a salary, save your search and get notified when a matching vacancy appears. Listings asking for a «registration fee» are not normal hiring practice — see the security rules.
