Guess the price: five real listings a day — guess the price, score points for accuracy
Sensing a price at a glance is a skill that pays off for buyers and sellers alike. Guess the price turns it into a game: five real Prayk listings every day, you name the price, and the game shows how close you got.
How to play
Each round shows the listing’s photos (up to six), title, city, category and key specs: brand, year, mileage and engine for a car; rooms, floor area and floor for a flat; storage and condition for a phone. The price is hidden. Type an amount into “What do you think it costs?” and press Guess — the actual price, your guess, the difference in percent and your points appear. Open listing takes you to the listing itself.
How points are calculated
Points depend on the percentage error: points = 100 × (1 − 1.5 × error), between 0 and 100. In practice:
- spot on — 100 points;
- 5% off — 93 points, 10% — 85, 20% — 70;
- 33% off — 51 points;
- more than 67% off — 0.
Five rounds give a maximum of 500 points. The correct answer is the seller’s asking price: prices of closed deals are not public, so the game does not use them.
How the five listings are chosen
- only live listings with at least two photos;
- price between 30 and 400,000 AZN;
- discounted listings are left out — two prices would be confusing;
- no more than two listings from one section, so the set stays varied;
- one set for the whole day — everyone sees the same five listings, and a new five arrives tomorrow.
For example, the 27 September set has a car part, two flats (one in Baku, one in Sumgait), a children’s toy and a smartphone — property and everyday prices in one go.
Sharing, and an honest note
When you finish, Share result sends your score via WhatsApp, Telegram or your phone’s share menu, or you can copy the link. No account is needed to play.
One limitation, stated plainly: results are not stored on the server yet. The game works fully, but reloading the page resets your progress, and the Today’s leaders table is not active yet — the page says so too.
