Over 65,000 vacancies in the state database: salaries from 400 to 10,000 manats
The «Labour and Employment» subsystem (ƏMAS) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection currently holds more than 65,000 active vacancies from various employers. According to navigator.az (citing Qafqazinfo), the highest salary among them is 10,000 manats and the lowest 400 manats. Job seekers can approach regional branches of the State Employment Agency or DOST centres, where a career adviser assesses their options and suggests suitable vacancies.
The picture in Prayk's Jobs section
As of 12 September 2026 the Jobs section holds 2,908 published vacancies. Across the 2,136 listings that state a salary, the median is 650 AZN. There are also 710 «Looking for work» listings, so the section runs both ways: employers post vacancies and candidates present themselves.
The state database and our figures are on different scales, which is to be expected: ƏMAS collects vacancies from officially registered employers nationwide, while a classifieds platform sees only part of the open market.
Three practical notes for job seekers
- Favour listings that state a salary. A stated figure saves both expectations and time — the filter shows you vacancies in your range straight away.
- Save your search. Save a filter by field and city and you will be notified as soon as a matching vacancy appears, instead of repeating the same search every day.
- Be wary of suspicious offers. A «registration fee», a request for card details or money up front is not normal hiring practice — see our account-security rules.
