Description
“Royal Sea Breeze Operation” LLC announces an open position for “Lawyer” at Royalé Casino.
Salary: To be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience, and salary expectations.
Mandatory Requirement: Membership in the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support to the Company on matters relating to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) compliance;
Advise on compliance with applicable banking and financial regulations in the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Provide legal guidance on cybersecurity, information security, and personal data protection requirements;
Advise on tax law matters and assess the legal and regulatory implications of the Company’s business activities;
Draft, review, negotiate, and coordinate commercial, corporate, and other contractual documentation;
Ensure that the Company’s activities comply with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements in the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, including those related to financial compliance, data protection, and contractual obligations;
Liaise with relevant government authorities, regulatory bodies, external legal advisers, and other stakeholders on legal and compliance matters;
Cooperate with the Company’s departments and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective legal support for its operational and business activities.
Candidate Requirements
Membership in the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan is mandatory;
Higher education in law, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law;
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar legal position;
Strong knowledge and practical experience in AML/KYC requirements and compliance practices;
Good knowledge of banking and financial regulation;
Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity, information security, and personal data protection legislation;
Strong knowledge of tax law and applicable regulatory requirements;
Good knowledge of corporate and contract law, including experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents;
Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan relevant to the Company’s business activities;
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks and develop practical solutions;
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
Professional integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility;
Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
Working Conditions
Working schedule: Monday to Friday.
Location: Sea Breeze, Nardaran, Baku, Azerbaijan.
