Check a listing: one report before you buy — market comparison, price history and seller signals
A listing that looks cheap is not always cheap. Paste the link on the Check a listing page and Prayk gathers what it knows about that listing into a single report: the gap from the market price, the price history, seller signals and the points that deserve a second look.
What is in the report
- Market comparison. The gap from the median of comparable listings, in per cent and in manat, with a five-step position: far below the market, below, near, above, far above.
- Price history. If the price has moved since publication, you see it — cuts as well as rises.
- Seller signals. The seller's history on the platform and store status.
- Duplicate check. Whether other copies of the same listing exist, and which one is the original.
- Listing quality and age. Photo count, how complete the description is, how many days the listing has been up.
The deal score and its limits
Those six signals roll into one score, with a five-step verdict from Excellent deal down to Does not look like a good deal. Each signal has its own weight: price counts for the most, and weak evidence moves the total only slightly.
The key rule applies here: the score is only calculated when there are enough comparable listings. With no basis for comparison the page says the data is insufficient and shows the remaining signals — it will not invent a number. The reverse holds too: a serious signal, or a price above the market, caps the score from above.
All signals are automatic and are not an accusation — they are things worth checking before you decide. And the figures are asking prices, not sale prices.
Where it works
The check covers published listings. Coverage varies by section: where attributes are filled in — smartphones, for instance — the comparison is strong, while imported listings without attributes give it little to work with. In that case the page does not hide the score; it simply says there is not enough data.
Target price alerts
If a listing is expensive, you can wait. On the report page you set a target price — when the listing drops below it, a notification arrives. The alert fires once. Your alerts live in your account, under saved searches.
