"My things": the market value of what you own — Prayk tells you when it changes

Many people come to Prayk only to post a listing and leave as soon as it sells. Someone who is not selling had no reason to come back. Now there is one: My things — a personal portfolio that tracks the market value of what you own. On the site and in the mobile app.

1. How to add an item

Where: "My things" → "Add item" in the cabinet menu; or the "I have one too" button under the price on any listing page.

How it works: you type the item's name — for example "iPhone 13 128GB" — and pick the closest listing from the catalogue. The value is computed from that listing's market basket: same section, same model, same condition. When you add from a listing page the basket is already precise — one tap is enough. If you are browsing without an account, the button offers sign-in and the item is added automatically afterwards. Even if the listing is later deleted, your item stays — we keep its parameters, not the listing.

2. Where the value comes from

The value is the median of real listings in the same section — each card says "median of N similar listings" and the criterion. It is the same mechanism as the market comparison on a listing page; as market data improves, the portfolio refines itself. At the top you see the total: "Market value of my things — M of N items valued". If there are not enough similar listings, the card says "Value not computed" rather than inventing a figure; pick a matching listing from the catalogue and it gets precise. Values refresh daily in the background; the "Refresh value" button updates one right away.

3. Trend and chart

Each card has a "Market: ±N% over 90 days" line and a "Price history" button — opening it shows a day-by-day median chart for the last 90 days. One rule: if the basket's composition changed sharply (for example, a lot of new listings landed in the section at once), the trend is not shown — that figure would reflect the change in composition, not the market.

4. Notification

When an item's value differs from the figure in the last notification by at least 5% and at least 20 manats, a notification arrives: "… got cheaper: −N% → X AZN" or "… went up: +N% → X AZN — a good time to sell". The comparison is made not with yesterday but with the last value we told you about — otherwise a slowly drifting price would create a notification every day. The channel is in Notifications, "Price" group.

5. "Sell"

When you decide to sell, the "Sell" button on the card opens the listing form and pre-fills it: title, category, condition. If you entered a purchase price, the card shows "Purchase: X AZN · ±N%" — you know how much you lost or gained. And when you stop the listing, Prayk asks for the real selling price ("Was it sold?"), and the "Sold this year" summary appears in this same section.

Who it is for

People who bought a car and check now and then "what could it sell for"; people planning to change their phone; anyone who wants to see how much their home appliances are "melting". You fill the portfolio once — after that Prayk writes to you.
