Don't know what it's called? Drop a photo and Prayk finds the closest listings
Sometimes you don't know what the thing is called: the fabric pattern, the type of armchair, the exact name of a spare part. That is what image search on Prayk is for — you search with a picture instead of words.
How it works
Tap the camera button next to the search box and upload a photo. There is a faster route too: copy an image and paste it straight into the search box with Ctrl+V. The system runs the picture through an AI model, turns it into a digital fingerprint and compares it against the photos in the catalog. Results are ranked by match percentage — closest first.
The comparison looks at the image itself, not the text: colour, shape, pattern, the lines of the model. That is why it also surfaces listings with a misspelled title, or ones named something else entirely — the search does not depend on wording.
Your photo is not stored
This is deliberate: the uploaded picture is never saved on the server. The bytes are processed only to make the comparison and then discarded — your photo ends up in no folder and no history.
If a licence plate is visible
When a registration plate is legible in the photo, the system reads it separately and the listing with that plate jumps to the very top of the results. That is a separate mechanism, and we covered it in its own article.
