Search on the map, see what's around: listing pins, nearby places and the metro

Flats, offices, even a second-hand washing machine — the choice usually comes down to "where is it?". Prayk has several tools for the geographic side of search, and they complement each other.

1. The listing map

On the map page listings appear as pins. Drag the map to the district you care about, pick a section — the listings in view refresh immediately. It is the fastest route for places whose address you know but whose district name you'd rather not guess.

2. "What's nearby" on the listing page

Every listing with coordinates gets a small map of its surroundings: nearby shops, schools, parks, cafés and metro stations, each with the distance in metres. The area also gets a location score out of 10 — the more varied the amenities close by, the higher it climbs, with extra points when a metro station is within 800 metres.

The "Listings nearby" block shows alternatives in the same area — the handiest place to compare asking prices.

3. The "Nearby" page

The Nearby page starts from where you are: set a radius, narrow the section, and listings line up by distance. On a phone, walking around the city, it is the most useful page on the site.

4. The Baku metro map

The metro page puts all 27 stations and 109 exits of the Baku metro on an interactive map, each exit with coordinates and a directions link. Pick a station and move on to the listings around it — a ready starting point for anyone after a "flat near the metro".
