New approaches in online trading: buy requests, voice search, bulk upload — what Prayk already has

On 30 August 2026 navigator.az published an overview of how expectations of classifieds platforms are shifting: searching existing listings is no longer enough — people want to publish what they need, be notified when a matching offer appears, and talk to the other side inside the platform. The piece cites TenderYard as one platform developing this approach and lists its features: buy requests, creating a listing by voice, photo, description or link, bulk upload via Excel, voice and global search, saved filters, notifications, in-platform messaging and calls.
Why the trend matters
In the classic model the seller posts and the buyer searches. In the new one the buyer is not passive: they publish their need and the system tells them when something matching shows up. That saves the most time on rare items and specific configurations.
Where each of these lives on Prayk
- Buy request → the «Looking for» section. You describe what you want, your budget and city, and sellers send you offers.
- Voice search and voice listing → the microphone button in the search bar and dictation in «Quick listing» mode. Speak instead of typing.
- By photo → upload a picture and the AI fills in the title, description and category; in the other direction, image search finds similar listings.
- By link → «Check by link». One difference worth stating: on Prayk a link does not create a listing — it finds the Prayk equivalent of that product and its market price.
- Bulk listing → the store catalogue and the «Prayk Wholesale» section, where the wholesale side runs on its own profile and product list.
- Saved filters and alerts → save a search and get notified when a new listing matches it; the location radar does the same for a point and radius on the map.
- In-platform communication → chat on the listing page. Agreeing terms in writing before you hand over your phone number is simply safer.
Prayk in numbers
As of 12 September 2026 the platform holds 332,358 published listings, 3,735 stores and 25,230 registered users. 86,608 listings carry a point on the map, which is why address-based search works best in real estate and services.
