Barter listings get their own page: over 6,000 cars open to exchange, sorted by brand

“Will swap my car for yours”, “barter with a top-up” — a routine offer on the car market, but hard to spot in the general list. The Barter listings page now gathers every listing where the seller marked that they are open to an exchange.

What is on the page

  • Brand chips — each brand shows the exact number of its barter listings. Clicking a chip opens that brand’s own page, for example Mercedes barter listings.
  • Sorting — Newest, Cheapest first, Most expensive first.
  • Cards — as in the catalogue: photo, price, year, engine and mileage, with pagination.
  • A Post a barter listing button and a short barter Q&A block.

How a listing gets here

The source is the “Barter” field on the listing itself. Tick it when you post or edit a car listing and the listing appears on the barter page automatically; untick it and it leaves. For now the field is part of the car form, so the page lists cars. If other sections’ forms get the same field, their listings will show up here on their own.

By the numbers

Morning of 27 September 2026: Prayk has 6,442 active barter listings. The most offered brands are Mercedes — 1,019, Hyundai — 734 and Toyota — 432 listings. The range is wide: recent ones include a 2020 Kia Sorento at 52,200 AZN, a 2013 Toyota Camry at 22,000 AZN and a 2018 Khazar SD at 7,100 AZN.

What to watch in a swap

  • Check the documents and technical condition of both cars; get a workshop diagnostic if you can.
  • Agree the price difference (the top-up) in advance. Checking both cars’ market value with What’s my car worth? keeps the conversation grounded in numbers.
  • Formalise the deal with a notary and never pay anything up front.
  • If a particular listing looks doubtful, the Check a listing report on its page shows a market comparison and the price history (more).

This is general information — confirm the paperwork rules with a notary and official sources.
