The Real estate section has been rebuilt: Buy–Rent–Daily tabs, room chips and filters that apply instantly
In September we rebuilt every root section of Prayk: each one now opens like a dedicated, specialised site — its own header, its own colour, its own menu and only the filters that work there. This post is about the Real estate section, which today holds more than 105 thousand active listings.
1. The section's own header
At the top of the page sits a dark emerald panel: the section name, the number of active listings and the trail inside the section. The panel is compact — the first row of listings stays on screen when the page opens. The white card inside it is the search form, so the first action can be taken on the first screen.
2. Deal tabs: Buy · Rent · Daily
The form starts with three tabs — Buy, Rent, Daily. Tapping the selected tab again clears the choice, so there is no separate button for going back to "all". The deal type is read from the listing's own attribute, which keeps the result consistent with the real listings.
3. Rooms, price and location in one panel
Under the tabs are room count chips (1, 2, 3, 4+), a price range and a location picker; location opens in its own dialog — city, district, metro. Plus two property-specific keys: "Title deed" and "Mortgage". Everything else — floor, area, renovation state, building type and the remaining fields of the category schema — lives in the "All filters" dialog.
A filter applies the moment you pick it: the list changes, the number of matching listings above the button updates, and the button scrolls you to the results. There is no extra confirmation step.
4. Filters now match the section
All sections used to show the same keys. In real estate several of them were meaningless: "Delivery" (a flat is not delivered), "Discount" and the generic "New / Used" toggle. The last one was especially confusing, because in property "new build / resale" is a separate attribute that comes from the listing's own field. Those three are gone; "Mortgage" and "Good deals" (a price below the market median) stayed — real estate is one of the two sections where a market median is computed.
5. One filter panel instead of two
Filters used to sit both at the top and in the left column — the same thing in two places. Now there is a single surface. Mobile follows suit: the quick chip row is simpler, and the full set lives in the "All filters" sheet.
6. The site header becomes the section's menu
On a computer the top row changes with the section: the section badge and name appear next to the logo, and the second row lists property categories and the Agencies link. The search box at the top searches inside the section; on the results page a section chip appears, and the cross widens the search to the whole site. The general links stay in the "More" panel.
7. Key parameters on the card
Property cards show a rooms · area · floor line next to the price, so flats can be compared straight from the list. The same logic has now reached car cards too (year · engine · mileage).
8. The mobile app works the same way
The section header, the deal segment (Buy / Rent / Daily) and the room and price fields were ported to the mobile app. There the form is not a separate page but a set of entry points into the existing filter sheet — the more natural pattern on a phone.
What has not changed
The addresses are the same: /real-estate and every subcategory open under their old links. "Open as list" on the map, the filtered links you shared and your saved searches keep working — the panel speaks the same filter language. Dark mode contrast was checked separately.
