The "From owner" badge, the "Fresh from owners" strip and a new feed order: a real seller's listing no longer sinks in the catalogue

Most listings on Prayk are collected from open sources — we have written about this openly ("Where the listings come from"). Buyers get a wide catalogue, but there was a side effect: a listing the owner posted on Prayk personally would sink in the large flow. In September we tackled this from several sides. Below, for each change: where you see it and how it works.
1. The "From owner" badge on the card
Where: on listing cards — home page, section lists, search results, the mobile app.
How it works: the badge appears only on a listing the owner posted on Prayk personally; collected listings do not get it. Hovering shows the explanation: "The owner posted this listing on Prayk personally". Store listings already carry their own store badge, so it is not duplicated there. For a buyer it is a simple signal: there is a real person on the other side who will answer your message and will receive the "your number was viewed" notification when you reveal the phone.
2. "Fresh from owners" on the home page
Where: a separate strip on the home page after the third row of cards; the mobile app shows it in the same place.
How it works: the strip lists listings posted by real sellers in the last 3 days, newest first. This is the "live" part of the catalogue: behind every listing here is a seller who was on the site this week.
3. A 48-hour top slot in section feeds
Where: the first page of section and category lists (for example Products, Cars, Real estate).
How it works: a real seller's listing published in the last 48 hours gets one slot after the paid slots and before the regular order. So your new listing stays on the first page of its section for two days — without buying any package. The order is deterministic: nothing is lost or repeated between pages.
4. A guaranteed slot in the "For you" feed
In the personal recommendation feed on the home page, one or two of the first six slots go to a real seller's listing from the last 72 hours. Previously the algorithm chose only by what you had viewed, and a fresh listing never showed up there; now novelty has a quota.
5. At most 2 listings per seller per page
Where: the general feed (home page and sections) under the default sort.
How it works: a page shows at most two listings from the same seller; the rest are fully visible on the seller's page and through filters. Previously the home page could show 10 cards in a row from one store — now the feed is varied and a small seller is not overshadowed by a big catalogue.
6. A queue for TOP and VIP
When all paid listings piled up in one place, the feed "froze": there was no room for new listings on the first screen. Now each page starts with at most 6 paid slots, the rest move to the top of the following pages, and these slots rotate every 15 minutes — every listing with a package takes its turn on page one. Tiers are preserved: Premium never drops below VIP, and VIP never below TOP. About packages: Pricing.
7. In search, ties go to the real seller
If two listings match a query equally well, the one posted by the owner comes first. This does not change ranking — it only resolves ties.
What it means for a seller
Post your listing yourself — the form starts from a photo, and AI prepares the title and description. If your listings were collected from another site, claim them by phone number: the listings move to your account, and the "From owner" badge and the 48-hour top slot become yours too. The rules of a good listing: "How to write a good listing".
