Promoting a listing: what's the difference between TOP, VIP and Premium?

Posting on Prayk is free and will stay that way. But with thousands of listings in a section, visibility is still a question. That's what the paid packages are for — and each does something different. Here is what each one actually does, so you don't pay for the one you don't need.

The three tiers

  • TOP — lifts the listing up the default ranking in its section. The simplest and cheapest option: the listing looks the same, it just sits higher.
  • VIP — the listing stands out with a coloured badge and frame. It catches the eye in a list, which matters most where similar products sit side by side.
  • Premium — the strongest option: the listing goes to the very top and appears in the top block of the home page. For expensive items and anything that has to move fast.

On the day this article was published TOP cost 2 AZN for 7 days, VIP 5 AZN and Premium 9 AZN; VIP also comes in a 30-day package. Current prices are always on the tariffs page.

A bump instead of a package

Sometimes you don't need a package to move up — a bump is enough: the listing returns to the top of the list as if freshly published. It is the cheapest tool on the site, roughly a quarter of a weekly package.

Auto-bump does it for you every day, so the listing lifts itself for a week. Bought together with a tier package it comes at a discounted bundle price.

Colour highlighting

A small separate tool: the listing card gets a coloured background. It doesn't change ranking, it just draws the eye — a cheaper alternative to VIP.

Store plans

If you sell regularly, a store plan can beat promoting listings one by one. There are three — Basic, Pro and Premium: each runs 30 days and they differ in the listing limit and the number of free monthly bumps (Premium has no listing limit). The figures and prices are on the tariffs page.

How payment works

Every package is paid from your balance: you top it up once, and each purchase is deducted from it. If the balance is short, the system sends you to the payment page and resumes the purchase afterwards. We wrote about that separately.

One tip before spending: the Listing Doctor in your cabinet checks the listing and tells you what to fix. Adding photos and moving the price closer to market often does more than promotion — see our guide to writing a good listing.
